Boston 2-day Itinerary
Headed to Boston in early August and I need help planning my trip. I will have two days in the city and I am traveling with two kids both excellent travelers.
Note:We do not like meuseums!!!!!!!!!!

I always find that age group enjoys improv comedy, check out improv asylum in the north end. www.improvasylum.com

Just came back from a trip to Boston with a 13 year old. She loved the Science Museum, also the Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse. Of course, she is a shopper, so she loved Fanuil Hall and the Prudential Tower Mall. The Duck Tour was also a hit. She was allowed to drive in the Charles River for quite aways.
I loved Boston, much to my own surprise. Hope you have as much fun as we did.

Well, the Museum of Science is absolutely spectacular...
Also highly recommend a Duck Tour.
And, the Freedom Trail for the history.
You can almost always get 1/2 price tickets for Blue Man Group (highly recommend) at BosTix.

I think you would enjoy at least part of the Freedom Trail; the North End has Paul Revere's house and the Old North Church, which I am sure your kids have studied, and you can stroll down Hanover Street and feel like you are in Europe...all of the Italian shops and restaurants. Have a gelato or a cannoli!

Hate musuems eh? Alright, I think I can help you guys out! I recommend grabbing a Go Boston Card (http://www.gobostoncard.com) for two days and doing the DUCK Tour first thing if you want to see the whole city and get a mini-tour of the charles river. It's fun, you see a bunch and the kids love it and it's a hoot. Then I'd go to the Waterfront/Fanuiel Hall Area and visit the New England Aquarium. I'd also go to lunch at the Barking Crab for seafood (great--great food in an on the water barge--very very casual) http://www.barkingcrab.com Or have lunch in the North End for Italian (be sure to stop at Mike's Pastry's for the best canolis in the city) I'd also hit up Boston Movie Tours, Swan Boats of the Public Garden and maybe 5-wits located Near Fenway Park!
