Boca Raton Resort & Club

My husband and I are celebrating our 5 year anniv. and are considering the Boca Raton Resort. I would like to hear from someone who has stayed there recently. Any info/opinion would be appreciated.

My reply may be too late but the BRR is a wonderful hotel with golf and premises on premises a boat ride to the ocean wing. It is a five starhotel comparable to the Breakers in Palm Beach. It is really first class.

Ignore the hurricane warning.

LOVE the BRR&C! Wonderful historical place!

I like staying in a higher floor in the high rise but hanging out at the pool by the beach.

Totally worth the money.

Although the Boca Raton resort is nice, it is very overpriced. Drinks, food, everything is ridiculous. You have to pay for chairs, umbrellas, everything at the beach. My in-laws are "members" there and we stayed in a suite at the Beach Club a few years ago. The beach is nice, the golf course in good shape, but be prepared to spend big bucks.

Nice place. I can't comment on cost and relative value since I wasn't paying for it.

It's gorgeous if you have one of the high tower rooms--nicest place I've ever stayed. That said, the beach isn't very attractive--everyone seems to swim in the nearby pool with ALL of their gold jewelry on! Everything is VERY expensive there--to my mind, it's just not worth is. Give me a JWW Marriott over that place anytime...
