This may only pertain to the Northeast but how much snow has everyone gotten so far?? We got about 5 inches of snow overnight and it's still coming down. Are you planning to stay inside most of the day and avoid driving?

10 inches in Silver Spring MD.
Got some killer snow pics today in my yard. Nothing like a shot of the car with all that snow on it. It's so beautiful here. Don't take this the wrong way you southerners, but I'd never live in the south or year round warm weather areas of the US! I like the change of seasons.

I am in Cambridge on a project and can't believe the snow! I lived here for 5 years, but this is my first winter in 3! We are at about a foot and I have decided to bundle up and head outside because we need wine. At least I am catching up on my e-mailing and trip planning.

The official record from Central Park as of a couple of hours ago was 23" - making it the second highest snowfall in history - right behind '48. But it's still snowing - so who knows?
(Our street - granted residential - but in Manhattan - not the outer boroughs - hasn;t even been plowed once yet - although the avenues are passable for buses.)

If you have any thoughts of traveling into Manhattan today, don't.
I have 5 foot drifts on my Upper East Side terrace and officially NYC has had over 2 feet of snow -- and it's still coming down.
I was out today and travel is difficult. Many subway lines are down, including the 7 and Lex Ave express lines, and travel by bus is hit-and-miss.

Both my daughters are new to the Northeast (Boston & NYC) and have been bitterly complaining about the lack of a "real" winter.
I told them to be careful what they wish for!!
Its fortunate timing for Hawaii's Pro Bowl this afternoon though...the contrast of 80` and sunshine will be very good for tourism!

0", zero inches of snow so far here in Seal Beach, California. It's 83F and sunny, so I could put on a t-shirt and go down to the pier to see if it is snowing there, if you want, but I don't think it is.
