Best things to to at Disney World
Hi I hope you can help me,
WE were avid DW fans when the kid were young (14 times in about 10 years), but now it has been about 8 years since we have been and we are having a last fling with the kids before they move on to college (we leave tomorrow!). I want the latest secrets, the BEST TIPS to see the park. Obviously there are new things added in the last 8 years. We also want to have fun not kill ourselves.
I'll start-do the jungle cruise at night-never a line and it's so much funnier in the dark.
Thanks!!!!

Since your "kids" are grown, I suggest running to the bookstore and getting a copy of Birnbaum's "Disney Without Kids". You can avoid some of the juvenile things. I guess you haven't visited Animal Kingdom- we liked that as adults. Also, Epcot will be a lot more fun with older kids.

I don't understand why some of you people get irritated when others post a question asking for advice? Isn't that what this forum is here for? Maybe Leo did some research but wants some first hand fodorite advice? I don't think Leo is asking you to do an internet search for him, but is hoping for someone who has been there to give him some of their favorites. Come on! If you don't have any advice for him, ignore the question!

I think people are annoyed because Leo is leaving tomorrow, and now, the day before, he is asking about the best tips to see the park. For a tip, if you are going to watch a parade at the Magic Kingdom, watch from Frontierland and not Main Street. The crowds are thinner. Use Fast Pass wherever possible to avoid lines.

MGM definitely Rock-n-Roller Coaster, Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Tower of Terror. Test Track at Epcot. Animal Kingdom Kali River Rapids, Bird show, and the Safari trip. It's tough to be a bug 3-D show. Honey I Shrunk the Audience at Epcot or MGM. Adventurer's Club and Comedy Club at Downtown Disney as well as Disney Quest. Definitely utilize fast pass options and e-ride nights when available. And don't forget Cirque du soliel at Downtown Disney.
