Best spot for free wifi in DC?

I have some work to get done there on Sunday and Monday while I'm on the road. Would love to find an interesting (indoor) place to park my laptop and myself -- and do some people watching, too. Do you have any suggestions? THanks in advance!

Busboys and Poets on U Street. It's a coffee bar/restaurant/bookstore in one of the hippest neighborhoods in DC

The Courtyard at the Museum of American Art.

Probably almost anyplace in Adams Morgan.

When my daughter moved into her apartment there, we were able to get WiFi from a dozen unsecured sites while we waited for the Comcast guy to come to install her service! Same when I camped around the corner in my RV; her neighbors aren't terribly security-conscious.

Update: I had only one big spot of time, and I selected the Courtyard at the Museum of American Art.

It was also the last day of the (spectacular) Aaron Douglas exhibit -- which I enjoyed very much, especially as a Kansan.

The Courtyard was the perfect choice. Thank you for that recommendation, MikeT!

I'm glad it worked out. One of the things I love about DC is that most of the museums are free and accessible. I've met people for lunch at the American Art Museum and then spent 20 minutes looking at art before heading back to work.
