Best Show? Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge

Going on a family reunion... would like a show to entertain adults and children too. We are staying in Gatlinburg... would rather see something there... but wouldn't mind going to Pigeon Forge either.

Anybody been to several that can recommend a favorite?

We've only got time for 1 and would like for it to be the BEST! Thanks for all your suggestions.

My recommendations are for Pigeon Forge..for both children and adults I would say go to The Comedy Barn..it is hilariously entertaining. The first time I went I thought it would be corny, but is not. Good clean family humour.

Dixie Stampede is good and it's a dinner show. Both would like that.

There's lots of great shows, but for only 1 show for adults and kids...I say,

1. Comedy Barn
2. Dixie Stampede
3. Black Bear Jamboree(also dinner show)
4. Country Tonite

Thanks for your insight!

It's great to hear from someone that has actually seen the shows!

Louise Mandrell's show is consistently the top rated show.

I agree that Louise Mandrell's show is great, but not too sure the adults AND the children will like it. Having said that, maybe I will take Country Tonite off my list for that reason.

Just wanted to post after our trip. We did go to the Comedy Barn and it was a big hit for all... ages 6 to 90!!! The price was reasonable... a big plus.

We were seated on one of the sides on the main floor and that was perfect. At first I was concerned... but it gave us more aisle seats for all the movement to the concession stands! I would request that for big groups. We were near the back... but didn't feel that we missed anything.

Thanks for your help!

I'm so glad The Comedy Barn was a hit for all the kiddies!!!

I just got home from Pigeon Forge today. Went to Dollywood on Tuesday and Wednesday. Needed a boat for Wednesday and Thursday in the area, didn't we?!

Thanks for posting your report. We've been in that area many times, but have never gone to any of the shows. Good information to have for future reference.
