another vote for the Rio! Get there early or have one of your party stand in line with a cell phone.

Melissa- Are you familiar with any of the Friday night seafood buffets downtown? Looks like Main Street Station, the Fremont and the Golden Nugget all have them. Thanks!

Hi trippinkpj, I think I normally skip the Friday buffets because the lines are so darn long! I did take in the Saturday night buffet at Main Street on Dec 23. it was a good deal for the price. it was a good thing that we went there first, though. the next day/night, we went to the Bellagio buffet and the quality of the crab was significantly better (no duh! of course!). I hear a lot of good things about the Fremont and Golden Nugget's Friday buffets but alas, have not done those yet due to the line.

If you don't mind, you might as well start lining up at 4 pm. heck, you'll be full for the rest of the night anyway so it won't matter if you take an early dinner!

The buffets at the Bellagio and the Wynn have already peeled shrimp, already cracked king crab legs, sushi, and fish. Both are excellent, although, I think the buffet at the Bellagio is the best in Las Vegas and is less expensive than Wynn.

It's been a few years since I've been to the Rio buffet but I believe it was $27pp.
