Strictly public or semi-private?And does the $200 include the cart fee or not?Last time I looked,Pebble Beach was still under $200.I cant be sure but if so they would get my vote.

I'll pitch for a couple great courses around here:
1. Pumpkin Ridge, west of Portland. US Women's Open to be played there next year.
2. Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes on the Oregon coast....golf like it was meant to be played.

I mean a golf course which I wouldn't have to have connections to get a tee off, or I wouldn't have to book more then 1 month in advance. Let's say the green fee alone can't be more then 100 $ us. I will be in Florida in April, any golf course near miami worth while?

The best value in public golf is arguably the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. There are about 10 courses throughout the state with green fees under $65. Some of the courses, such as Grand National in Opelika, are stunning!

Was curious so I looked at Golf Magazines rankings of top 100 courses you can play (public). #1. Pebble (greens fees well over $200 though); #2. Pacific Dunes; #9. Bandon Dunes; #39. Pumpkin Ridge.

I Love Falcon's Fire outside of Orlando. I think it was $125.00 high season. Trya search for either Miami or Orlando golf on google.

In the last 2-3 years, Golf Digest had a course(Thousand Oaks) here in Grand Rapids, MI rated as a top 5 public course in the country for under $100.00. All of the criteria mentioned by the original poster seem to fit. Unfortunately the northern climate here allows play only from early March thru November.
