Best Pool?

Husband and I 25yr anniversary. We are short 10k miles for Hawaii! Next year! We love to hang at a nice pool, with waterslides if any hotel has them? Tropicana and Mandalay Bay look like nice pools. Do any other hotels have 'fun' pools?

Not too many waterslides in Vegas, although the Golden Nuggett has one that goes through the shark tank. On the Strip, in addition to Mandalay Bay, MGM has a nice lazy river and other pools.

Can't really comment on the Tropicanna's pool, but the hotel itself is not very exciting...on the run down side.

It helps to put the location in the title.

Interesting question. I don't think I have seen waterslides in Vegas now that I think about it.

Is this the primary criteria for your hotel on your 25th anniversary?

Mandalay Bay is a nice Hotel with a very nice pool. It is also an exceptionally busy pool area. Loud, kids, crowded.

The Tropicana is an old property that IMHO is not up to special occasion standard regardless of their pool.

Look into the Mirage or if that is too $$ for you, consider the Flamingo.

Congrats and Good Luck!

I would recommend buying the 10K miles with money and going to Hawaii. There are fantastic pools at the Grand Hyatt hotels in Maui and Kauai.

The Grand Weilea on Maui has lots of waterslides and lots of pools. If you want a great pool and beach, this would be the place.

Otherwise, in Las Vegas, the Mandalay Bay has a wavepool and lazy river which makes it probably the top pool in Las Vegas.

When are you going? I understand not all pools are open year round so you might want to check. That said, we liked the pool at the Flamingo.
