gmoney I always thought that about Colorado too but I have a friend in school at Fort Collins. Everytime I have tried to make a trip out there it has been much colder than here. I was trying to get out there the last two seasons. Perhaps this is just me grumbling before I am there in the right clothes!

Today there is a 10 degree difference between Fort Collins (25) and Killington(35). A 10 degree difference I would happily swap. I think I am heading into a shopping weekend when I wanted to ski!!

I KNOWS WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT THAT SUGAR BUSH SKI LIFT!!! So funny!! I wonder if we are talking about the same lift the one that takes you across the mountain. Oh my God I was praying on that baby last year. It stopped in the middle (hanging over tree tops) and then it started to swing while we were in the midst of a dark snow storm. I say we but I was all by myself talking to my long deceased father . "Dad let me finish this ride don’t let me swing over!" .When I got off regulars told me it was always like this on the crossing. So I plan to brave this crossing again!

Certainly not the expert on weather in CO. Good to know Colorado is warmer.
