Hi All!

Taking a trip out to Moab this August. We will be camping on a Monday and Tuesday, so hoping crowds are a little lighter than usual.

For campsites, I have been browsing this site: http://discovermoab.com/blm-campgrounds/ It seems like a great list but offers minimal descriptions of the campgrounds. Does anyone out there have any favorites? There will just be two of us, no kids. The quieter the better!

Also, how tough is it to snag a site on a first come/first serve basis?

Crowds are not huge in Moab in August because it's very hot, around 100 degrees. There is also not a lot of opportunity for shade. Unless you have experience camping at these temps., you might
want to reconsider your plan.
