We have a pretty strict budget this trip to Maui. Want to find some excellent happy hours with food... or good restaurants with set price options. Any thoughts welcome.

We are in the Kaanapali area, so mostly looking within 30 minutes drive. Thanks!

well... found 'sea house' and it was quite good... great view and good flavors. other ideas????

clark-- thanks for the links...kind of you to take the time. so many of the web sites are out of date or not specific about whether they include food...

in case anyone else sees this, here is what we found besides the one listed above...

kahana sands... happy hour with apps from 3-5 daily. we actually went for their 5:30-6:30 dinner which is half off. only 4 items to choose from, but the banana chicken was just amazing. (frankly, we were shocked!)

cane & canoe (at the montage) has a late happy hour (8-11)with free valet parking... good drinks and fun to wander around the place

good happy hour for drinks at dukes-- but no food included.

amazing maitais at merrimans for happy hour.. but food not discounted. best view ever!

just not many places serve food at their happy hours in west maui.

We had an amazing time at the Pioneer Inn Grill & Bar. They had really cheap drinks for happy hour and good food. They are not getting the best reviews on yelp but when we were there it was pretty great we thought!
