Hi, Just an update to the email from the guy who said he hated the Venetian pool....just wanted to make sure you know that the pools are closed at the Vegas hotels in December, so this is a moot point for when you'll be there! Have fun!

Travdog: there are many LV hotel pools open year 'round. Heated pools make winter swimming acceptable.
Places like Caesar's, Bellagio, Four Seasons, Mirage, Paris, and Venetian (among others) maintain at least one open pool all winter (list current as of a couple years ago).

Hey, Ted Turner...I suppose I spoke too soon, or at least was too general in my statement. However, speaking just for the Venetian this time.....
We've stayed there the past three years in December and the pools (all of them) have been closed outdoors. When I saw your post, it made me wonder if it was just that it was particularly cold, or if the hotel was not very full and so a $ loss for them to keep it open? Perhaps Venetian is the only one of the lot to close their pools? Even the jacuzzi was closed.
