Best Disney resort for small children
We are thinking of taking a trip to disney with our children (under age 5) this year?
What would be a better resort - Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, or the Yacht and Beach Club? Ease of travel to parks? Noise levels? Activities?

Yacht and Beach if they like to swim. Can use boats to get to MGM and EC.
AKL if they like animals.
WL, not much excitement there but some of the rooms do have bunk beds. Can use boat to get to MK.
All Star resorts are cool to look at but the rooms are small, especially if you're a family of 4. Their pools are ok but not overly exciting. It takes forever to get to the parks using the bus system.
I like Y&B the best for kids. Lots to do just at the hotel, what with the Boardwalk on the same walking loop.

I would say Yacht and Beach Club. Nice for you and for the little ones. Walkable to Epcot and the Boardwalk. The pool (Storm-Along-Bay) is probably the best at Disney. I prefer the Yacht Club, but the Beach Club is great, too. It's really just theming that's different. Yacht Club is a little more sophisticated, while the Beach Club is light and airy. Matter of personal taste.
Have a great time.

To further confuse matters, WL is the closest to the Magic Kingdom (a boat ride away) and with kids that small I'd imagine that's where you spend the most time. I know that they also have also of kids activities (story reading, pool activities) there as well.
