best clams & lobster in the cape ?

Hi. My wife and I will be going to the cape (Chatham) in July. This will be our first visit. Question, please. Where can we find the best seafood? Specifically, we're looking for great clams and lobster (and the proverbial lobster stew). We're not looking for anything fancy-smancy, just good fresh seafood. Thanx for any tips.

The Brewster Fish House has great food. The building itself doesn't look great, but the food is very good. Also, a good place to eat is the Scargo Cafe. We have been vacationing at the Cape for 5 years and eat at both places every visit.

Seafox, you are so right! Is there any better combination anywhere, than the seafood selections and waterview at the Lobster Pot? I dont think so!

And for casual seafood, the best Bloody Mary's, and quick service you are right again, you can't beat Clem & Ursies.

By the way, I had breakfast last weekend at Fannizzi's by the Sea. First time visit to this restaurant. Great breakfast buffet and very nice waterfront location right on Cape Cod Bay.

Hi. It's pretty hard to get bad seafood on the Cape. The restaurants in Ptown are fairly pricey but the Lobster Pot is pretty good although there are usually long lineups to get in.
In Chatham try the Chatham Squire on Main St. Great local hang out - food is very good and reasonably priced. In Orleans try the Land Ho - reasonable and good food, also a local spot.
Have a great trip. We have been going to the Cape for the past 12 years and have always had a wonderful holiday.
