Best biking and/or rafting in Utah?

Of all these destinations, where will we get the best biking and/or rafting excursions? (Don't need extreme biking/rafting.)
Moab, Canyonlands, Zion, Bryce

I would say Moab and then Canyonlands. Can't speak to the rafting but biking trails are for all levels. I am not even sure you can bike in Zion or Bryce. Maybe outside of the parks.

Moab will be the place for both rafting and biking. There is no rafting in Zion or Bryce. You can tube the Virgin River just outside of Zion. There are easy biking trails in Zion and from what I've read...very advanced bike trails in Moab area.

Hi NJ Girl,

Yes Moab is the place for both. On the mountain biking - most of the trails around Moab are for hard core experts. If you don't regularly bike single track at high altitude, then you will want to stick to easier trails in the Moab area, like mostly level dirt roads. Gemini Arches is one.

Good skinny tire cycling in the area too. You just have to be prepared to share the narrow roads with cars and motorhomes!

Nice full and half day float trips out of Moab with many companies. If you want something a bit more exciting, try Westwater Canyon.

It's sounding like your planning is coming along.

Have fun!
