It's too bad people can't ask for advice more than once for various suggestions before being scrutinized for it! Also, there are some of us that use the Fodor forum only occasionally and don't know exactly "how to top a post", etc. Also, for Tahitatams information, my husband got on Fodors and posted almost the same questions under my user ID as he is not a registered user, and was trying to help me plan our trip. So without my knowing he did that, it made me look like I asked the same question over and over! This forum, I thought, was supposed to be a helpful travel tool, not just another internet message board where people say things to criticize or demean other people!! Oh well, maybe some of these people just don't have anything better to do with their time!

Well, seven threads is quite a few on the same subject. Oh well, time to move on.

Sorry if you find it demeaning to point out when person asks (seven times or so) some basic questions as if he (she) knows nothing about the subject, when months before that same poster had offered tons of information and passed himself (herself) off as a major expert on the exact same subject.

Yes, this is a website to be helpful, but when posters can't seem to get their stories straight, it's kind of hard to figure out what kind of help we are supposed to give them.

While some of us may have too much time on our hands, that doesn't mean we have the time to offer suggestions over and over again to a person who has already provided her own answers.

Deblynn - blaming your poor unsuspecting husband for duplicating your posts - not fair.

whaddyathink - Could it be the non-registered DH posted the super-knowledgable thread (maybe he's been holding out on deb and knows more than he's letting on) Nah
