Best Airport for Cambridge, MD

I'll be traveling to Cambridge, MD for a triathlon in June and have the option of several airports --DCA & IAD in Washington DC, BWI in Baltimore and the Phildelphia airport. I'll be picking up a rental car. Which of one on these airports makes for the quickest and easiest drive to Cambridge? Thanks for your help.

definitely bwi. very easy airport and the easiest drive to the eastern shore. should take you under 1 1/2 hours to get to cambridge from there..unless you are traveling friday afternoon/evening.

BWI, fifteen miles northwest of the Annapolis area. Route 97 south to Route 50 which will take you to Cambridge.

Historytraveler:

Actually, US Airways Express flies to Salisbury, Maryland, which is on the Eastern Shore, and is closer to Cambridge than BWI. Plus, the traffic over the Bay Bridge in the summer can be extremely bad (depending on the day/time you go), and by flying into Salisbury, you avoid all of that.

Have a great trip!
