Oakland International Airport has a burrito place with FANTASTIC breakfast quesadillas. As far as airports with lots of choices, we were pleasantly surprised at the options Newark Liberty offered during a recent layover there. Lots of restaurant and shopping and the prices were not jacked up like you find at many airports.

Dave -- do a search at the top of the page...type in Albuquerque or Albuquerque restaurants and find some really informative threads.

If you have any other Q's...post or email me.

Hope this helps...
Debi

As above posters have mentioned, I always enjoy my layovers at the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport. And it's pretty easy to navigate too. Plenty of fun shops and many many eating establishments. I have had 4-hr. layovers in the past, and sometimes I jump a shuttle to the Mall of America. Very easy and quick. (I don't do this with less than 4 hrs----that would make me too nervous.) On another topic, we often ski in CO over spring break, so we usually connect through Denver. My newest FAVE restaurant there is "Que Bueno". I LOVE it!! Great Mexican food. Everytime I'm there I see airline personnel eating there.....they obviously know how great it is too. Last time I was there I had a cheese quesadilla that came with about 5 sides.....wonderful guacamole, yummy salsa, I think some sour cream, jalapenos, etc. Check it out next time you're at DIA. Que Bueno!!
