Tiff - you made me cry and now I have to get on a conference call. They'll be wondering why there is a catch in my voice. Lovely story.
Before I go I want to see my daughters as happy adults.
I want to spend lots more time with my husband because I still have lots to learn about him despite nearly 20 years of marriage.
I want to go to Australia, Ireland (again and again), Italy and England (last trip was business and too short).
I want to expand myself so that I would no longer fear going to Asia or Africa - can't honestly say that I would voluntarily go to either place today.
I want to not to be afraid of doing a lot of other stuff too.

OOps - I hate when I post too quick.
Stay in a Scottish HIghland castle
Return to Japan -bennie - we went in March and I would go back in a hearbeat. NOT scarry at all, always felt very safe.
Visit the wine country in Australia
Visit New Zealand
And that was a very beautiful story. I have never seen the northern lights, but my 21 year old son was at our lake place (in northern Wisconsin - my family has been going there for 45 years) 2 years ago and HE got to see them. He said it was incredible. He and his friends just sat there for hours and watched. I envied him while at the same time I was glad that he had the experience.

runners up…
finish reading my book on “Procrastination”, I’m serious….
try my hand at being politically incorrect
ban Wal-Mart shoppers from Home Depot (that was quick!)
take my shirt off in the backyard and eat Sloppy Joes ‘til they ooze down my neck…
gross Fodor’s bloggers out (mission accomplished)
...answer the universal question as to why we are here..
because we’re not traveling! besides, first class was full…
