A friend at work was talking about going to Blue Marsh Lake every weekend during the summer. It is a little above Reading, PA. I don't know where in Montgomery county you live, but she said it takes them about s 30 minutes from Royersford to get there.

I hit post too soon. She said Blue Marsh Lake has a beach and picnic tables and swimming and boating,etc.
