Beaches near Baltimore!
This weekend will be a scorcher in Baltimore! Can anyone recommend nice beaches within an hour's drive of Baltimore? What time do you need to get there? Do they "close" if it gets full? Are there entrance fees? Thanks for your help!

Cunningham Falls State Park near Frederick has a nice lakeside beach.

The one time I went to Sandy Point, jellyfish were a real problem. I don't know if that is usual though.

We used to go to the Hammerman area of Gunpowder Falls State Park.

Blues Fest will be at SAndy Point this weekend. I believe Aretha Franklin will perform.
