Dash Point State Park is between Seattle and Tacoma and has a nice beach. There are public rest/changing rooms and an area to rinse sand off your body. The water is shallow and warm compared to other areas, however, there is some sea weed. There are grassy treed areas to get out of the sun and picnic tables to eat at. I hope this helps.

Some people enjoy swimming in Lake Washington--there are several beaches. Some of the nice ones that come to mind are Meydenbauer Park in Bellevue and Luther Burbank Park in Mercer Island and Juanita Beach Park in Kirkland. Another really fun beach area is Alki Point--with Pegasus Pizza place right on the beach with very good pizza and salads. And if this weather keeps up, you're going to want a beach. (Normally you probably wouldn't want to do that.)
