Beach Walk Waikiki

Can anyone tell if The Hawaiiana Hotel, The Breakers, and the three little restaurants (sushi, soba, and italian) on Beach Walk survived the renovation of this area?

I looked at the project website but it only shows what is owned by the corporation. Thank you.

Darn, Suze, can't find it. Sounded as if there is lots of construction on Lewers Street.
Have you phoned the hotels directly? Were there actual plans to tear down Hawaiiana?? The place has such wonderful character!!

Suze, the Hawaiiana and the Breakers are safe and sound, untouched! Talked to the desk at the Hawaiiana recently ...

Thanks for trying, CaliNurse.

Thankfully the hotel *appears* alive and well on its website. My concern was that is may now be surrounded by high-rises (geez hope they don't block the sun on the pools -LOL).

Was only guessing my favorite funky little places like the fruit stand shack are part of what others thought "shabby" and are replacing for the update of Lewers Street, etc.
