Beach / Hotel Ft. Lauderdale
I'm flying to Ft. Lauderdale the end of May (Memorial Day Weekend) and am looking for a good beach with good water for swimming and a hotel on the beach. I hope to find something near restaurants to I don't have to drive much. I can splurge a little bit.
Thanks.
Thanks.

try the website www.ftlauderdalehotels.com
There's no need to spend a lot of money if you don't have to. Any of the hotels or motels on Seabreeze Blvd. or right off Seabreeze Blvd. is at the beach. Did you check the Best Western Oceanside Inn at 1180 Seabreeze Blvd? Their toll free # is 800-367-1007. If you have AAA they have a rate of $69.00

Try pelicanbeach.com It is a best western on the beach. There is no charge for beach chairs, or parking. It also includes a nice continental breakfast. It is on A1A. I also stayed at The Sheraton Yankee Clipper. This also sits on the beach. The hotel is tired, but it is clean. Bear in mind there are lounge chair daily fees if you go on the beach. The Sheraton also charges for parking. I was told last year the Pelican was building a new high rise. If it is completed I am sure it is very nice and brand new. I would go with a brand new place if given a choice. Most hotels there are tired and dated. I hope this helps. You can also check expedia.com for hotels in FLL.
