Baseball fans:

Which would be the best overall trip to see a ballgame driving from Kansas City-I'm thinking about the Twins, Rangers or Brewers. I have already been to Wrigley and Busch Stadiums and want to see a different ballpark. I also want to enjoy some of the city scenes as well.

You can cross MPLS off your list. One of the ugliest stadiums ever built, and indoors. Feels like you're watching the game on TV. Totally lifeless. (The city is great though).

Milwaukee has a nice new stadium, but the city itself is not worth the drive from KC.

Denver is the best choice IMO. Stadium's great, interesting part of town, beautiful mountain scenery, lots to do--especially in summer.

Ballpark at Arlington is nice as well. But I'm no fan of Dallas or Ft Worth.

So--that's my vote. Denver.

All-star game is in Chicago at Comiskey this summer. Why not nail Milwaukee and Chicago in one trip?

You could try!!! A few years ago, I wanted four tickets to a All-Star game. I got two tickets trough the mail-lottery system (perhaps some tickets are still sold that way) and two on the street. Yes, they were the cheap seats with the lowest price...but for an event like this, the point is being inside the stadium! The day before, we caught the Home Run Derby and Fan Fest. The All Star game sounds like a great idea...underwise, try Denver!
