Which resort offers the best spa and staff? I've never been to either, and I was looking to give a spa package to my wife for Christmas. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I've not done Barnsley and have done Chateau Elan, but I'd rather have a spa package from the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee.

If you are interested in a local option, try one of the many Natural Body spa locations in the metro Atlanta area. I really like their services - will probably go tomorrow.

For a destination location, the Grove Park Spa in Asheville, NC is amazing - especially the grotto pool. Very pricey, but would be a wonderful gift! A night at the Grove Park with a spa package. You'd be the most popular hubby around!
