Ballys vs. Monte Carlo.

Please help me to choose between these two. Currently they are in the same price range. Location, convenience and quality are the factors. We plan to relax by the pool first part of the day and explore whatever the city has to offer in the afternoon and night in 3 days, excluding gambling. Also we will be going to Ceasars and Bellagio for shows at night.

I've stayed at both and prefer the rooms at Bally's: however, I did not use the pool at either hotel. Monte Carlo is usually cheaper, but if Bally's isn't much more, I would pike it. At Bally's we booked a promotion that included a good coupon book. I liked the restaurants at Bally's more than Monte Carlo--Bally's has more of a sense of "place."

I think Bally's has a better location, the rooms are nice and the rates were good when we stayed there. The pool isn't very spectacular and it's a little out of the way. I haven't seen Monte Carlo's pool but heard it's not too bad.

Just got back from Vegas. Stayed at Ballys. Rooms were nice and you can't beat the location. Bellagio is just across the street as is Caesars. We did not swim but looked at the pool and it is just o.k.
