B&B Suggestions in Newport??

Hi Everyone - I will be going to Newport for a long weekend in September. Any suggestions on reasonably priced B&B's in a convenient area?? Hopefully within walking distance to restaurants/bars, ocean if possible and any other major attractions (I doubt you can walk to the mansions, but someplace convenient to them). It's tough to tell with the Fodors list of recommended hotels which are in ideal areas...Thanks!! - Laura

I stayed at the Captain James Preston house a few years ago and had a good experience. It's a very easy walk to town and close to Bellevue St and the mansions. This link may also help.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Francis Malborne House.

I can recommend the Adele Turner Inn, but I'm not sure it's what you'd call "reasonable" since it will probably be over $300/night. Then again, I think that might be reasonable for Newport.
