B&B recommendation for taos

Hi,
Trying to get some recent input for recomendations for a b&b in Taos or the surrounding area. It's just my husband and me, sans les enfants. Looking for a romantic atmosphere, charm, and quiet room. Thanks for any suggestions you can make!

well there is the mabel dodge luhan house. which has been owned by the eccentric women from the east (mabel ) from 1920-1960 and dennis hopper during the 1970s. charm and history.

there also is the taos inn--more of a funky hotel, not quiet.

there is a spectacular hotel just out of town-- i don't remember the name--but would be tres cher.

I don't have a recommendation, but I know this question has been discussed fairly recently in this forum. Take a look through the threads and see what you can find. Good luck!

Did a quick search and found two that might be to your liking:

American Artists Gallery House B & B

Have very good tripadvisor.com review ratings!

Have fun!

Here are some personal recommendations for you to consider

We know the owner's parent at:
Adobe & Pines http://www.adobepines.com/
It is a beautiful place.

A fodorite stayed at http://casagallina.net/ and this thread talks about it:

We went to a wedding at:
http://bandbtaos.com/ and it was very nice.

last minute deals might be found at:

Hope this helps..

My husband & I stayed at Orinda a few years ago & really loved it. Beautiful rooms, nice owners, wonderful breakfast.

Looks like the owners have changed since we were there, but on tripadvisor, it is still getting good reviews and still has wonderful breakfasts (one of the new owners used to be a chef.)
