Annapolis Restaurant Selection

Looking for nice dinner spot to take clients, price not a factor. We are open to either seafood or steak. Some suggestions include:

Lewnes Steakhouse
Ruth Chris
O'Learys Seafood

Welcome your feedback on any of these choices and/or other recomendations (and why).

Thanks

For a nice place to take clients with or without price being a factor I would recommend

"Northwoods" on Melvin near the Navy stadium. The place gets awards constantly.

"Carrolls Creek" waterfront on Spa Creek - located on Severn Rd in Eastport.

I've got to do a thumbs down on Ruth's Chris

My parents rave most about Northwoods, quarter of a mile from the Navy football stadium. They didn't like Rockfish very much.

Any of your three choices are superb, though I tend not to choose Ruth's Chris because I'd rather give my business to a local establishment.

Another possibility in Eastport (which is where the others you've listed are located) is the Wild Orchid. Innovative cuisine in a cottage-y kind of space (but not precious). It's kind of a local secret.

Sorry - had to run amidst the message.

Third - there's a Spanish restaurant across from the new construction at Parole. It's called "Jalapenos' and is wonderful!! They make their own Sangria too. The shrimp dish there is excellent.

Fourth - for Italian - you really can't do much better than "Cafe Mezzanotte" Route 2 North in Severna Park.

Lewnes is all right - same for O'Learys.

Try them yourself first and then you'll know how good they really are.

I've eaten at the non-descript(on the outside) Jalapeno's and it is very good. But don't expect a Taco Bell menu.
