Auto train tips?

We cancelled our return and will drive back home. The AT uses some sort of air freshener pumped through the vent system that I found more than just irritating. A word of warning to cpap users, the cpap makes the problem worse concentrating the scent and forcing it into your nose and throat. It took nearly a day until the taste of the freshener taste went away.
Also know that when the rooms are described as tiny, they mean very tight for two average sized people.
Since our cancelation was under 15 days we received a credit good for a year of AMTRAK travel up to the value of our fare, so that is good.

I know many people love it, but that is what keeps me driving to Florida rather than take the auto train.
I would rather stop at a hotel and sleep in a roomy, comfortable bed.
Thank you for your honest feedback.

I think it is great for one person but two makes for tight accommodations. I didn't have that stink in my cabin. I also had a lower cabin this time and wow what a difference. Hardly any movement. My big bugaboo. I was friggin next to the last to get my car in Lorton. That made me upset. I was cussing and felt bad after but two figgin hours to get my car? They had four drivers for 220 cars.
