Attn: DFW area fodorites

On Saturday June 25th DFW Airport is opening the new International Terminal (Terminal D) to the public from 12pm-8pm.
You have to go online to dfwairport.com and print off a ticket for a time slot and also for free parking. The event is free. There is more info on the aiport website.

I saw this thread last week. I am not a DFW resident, but I just happened to be in DFW last weekend, so I followed your advice and visited the new terminal. Very spiffy, we were all quite impressed!! Now if only I were going on an international trip soon....

Thanks for the tip.

Hi P_M..
Hope you had a nice time in Dallas. I think they have done a wonderful job with the Terminal. I was sort of sad that the Admirals Club was not finished. I was hoping to get a sneak peak at that. I posted on the Grand Hyatt at the International Terminal.
They have some excellent weekend rates and the property is fabulous.
I also wish I were going international soon as well. South America right now is very tempting...anything to get out of this heat here....

I had a lovely time in Dallas. Although I don't live there, I seem to pass thru that airport a lot since I'm an AAdvantage member. I was also disappointed not to see the Admirals Club, and darnit, he glass maze wasn't open yet either!! The mosiacs were very impressive. Let's hope my travels take me to Terminal D soon.

Happy 4th to you as well.
