Atlantic City on weekdays ???

Hi There,

I know that everybody plans to visit Atlantic City on the weekends, but I am planning my first visit to the city, and noticed most of the BIG Hotels also offer VERY cheap rates on the weekdays.

So, I was just wondering if it would be worth visiting the city midweek - is everything still open, and is there just as much to do on the weekdays as it is on the weekends?

Thanks.

AC is like the vomit of New Jersey.
It's dirty, smelly, run down, crime ridden, low class and ugly.
Visit midweek and have all this to yourself.
Yes, everything's open.
Sad as that is.

But other than that, how do you like Atlantic City Frank?

Everything in A.C. is open during the week. But----unless you are going only to gamble it is really a nasty place to visit. If you do go, be sure to get a sub at White House Sub Shop.

As you can see most people are not large fans of A.C. I live in Pa. and avoid it unless there is a show I want to see. Other than that, forget it. I you are set on going then yes weekdays would be fine. I am sure there is as much to do as on the weekends. Don't get your hopes to high. It is really not a nice place.

Other than the casinos, there's not a lot to do in AC so it wouldn't matter when you go unless you like a more crowded atmosphere. You dont say when you're planning on visiting, but if you can wait til the summer, at least there's the Jersey shore for something to do.
