My brother and I will be in AC this coming Saturday. We are not avid gamblers but would like to spend some time at the casinoes. Could someone inform us which is the "most affordable" casino (is that an oximoron?) in AC in terms of lower thresholds? For example, should I expect to find $5 blackjack tables on Sat night? Very difficult to find $5 tables on any night in A.C., especially Saturday night. Your best bets are probably the Wild West casino (attached to Ballys), or the Sands. Maybe somebody else can help.

Bally's has an upstairs room (hard to find, you should ask). there are a few $5 tables there on weekends. but they are crowded and the room is even more smokefilled than the casino itself, so be prepared to choke and leave smelling like an ashtray.
