Atlantic City - Casinoes

My brother and I will be in AC this coming Saturday. We are not avid gamblers but would like to spend some time at the casinoes. Could someone inform us which is the "most affordable" casino (is that an oximoron?) in AC in terms of lower thresholds? For example, should I expect to find $5 blackjack tables on Sat night? Many thanks.

Very difficult to find $5 tables on any night in A.C., especially Saturday night. Your best bets are probably the Wild West casino (attached to Ballys), or the Sands. Maybe somebody else can help.

Bally's has an upstairs room (hard to find, you should ask). there are a few $5 tables there on weekends. but they are crowded and the room is even more smokefilled than the casino itself, so be prepared to choke and leave smelling like an ashtray.

Yes, now I remember playing in the upstairs room you refer to. It's by the poker room.

Most of the tables are a minimum of $15 on a Saturday night.

Do the slots at Trump Casino. You can keep it "affordable" and they are known to pay better than the other casinos.
