Atlanta on Easter Sunday

My husband and I will be touring Atlanta on Easter weekend and was wondering if any popular tourist places might be open on Easter Sunday (Stone Mountain, Coca-Cola?). I would imagine that the shopping malls will be closed but the restaurants open.
Any suggestions?

I would call the local Chamber of Commerce to find out. Your hotel staff may know as well.

If you want to get up early, go to the Easter Sunrise service on top of Stone Mountain. You can take the trail to the top or the tram. It is an amazing experience. Hundreds of people on top of the largest exposed batholith in the world watching the sun rise...and celebrating Easter.

I think the malls should be open and all restaurants, etc.

Years ago, in Midtown, they used to have the Easter Sunday Drag Races. It was a hoot!! Men in campy drag, wearing 5" stiletto heels racing through an obstacle course looking for Easter eggs. Don't think they do it any more, however. More's the shame.
