asheville lodging
Iam traveling with family in April to see spring flowers at the Biltmore and points of interested for a long weekend. We wanted to stay at the red rocker inn but all booked for that weekend. Anyone have any suggestions for place to stay near area that would also include a nice breakfast? [email protected]

We stayed at the Aberdeen Inn in Ashville. The Inn keeper is very nice; they have bikes for riding around and I loved the house. They have a nice den with menus of local restaurants; the hostess will tell you where to eat. The breakfast is very good. We stayed in the Wisteria room which has a king bed and an extra bed and they also have the cottage. It is in the Park Grove area. Here is the website http://www.aberdeeninn.com/

Red Rocker Inn is in the town of Black Mtn - did you want to stay there or in Asheville. If the latter, there are lots of B&B's within walking distance of downtown in the historic area called Montford. As I live here I don't know about the breakfast side of things.

sjgirl,
Are you seeking B&Bs? Also, how many will be traveling? Any children and if so, what are their ages?
There are some great family friendly B&Bs in Asheville that are within minutes of the Biltmore House & Gardens. Try the Cumberlandfalls Bed and Breakfast Inn.
Hope this helps!
