Arizona - Chandler, ordering food...

My friend is from NJ and her father who is from Chandler, AZ recently passed away. I would like to order some food to be delivered to the house in Chandler. I can't find any supermarkets that I am familar with such as Stop and Shop or Wegmans, both of which I know take catering orders and do a great job with them. Can anyone help me, I'm looking to order some sandwiches, cookies, etc and have it delivered. Much appreciated...thanks!

I'd trade everything we have for Wegmans. Oh well. Supermarkets include Fry's, Safeway and Basha's as 3 big ones. If you want something more upscale, try AJ's Fine Foods.

The big supermarket there is Basha's, and there's a Trader Joe's. Don't know if either of them do deliveries, but if both do, I'd go for Trader Joe's.

Albertson's is another option in Chandler.

I live in AZ, so I'd say contact AJ's. They are the "upscale" branch of Basha's (who also delivers) and I am sure they can work out a delivery for you. They are lovely stores with great food

I don't exactly have what you want but I can tell you the ribs are great and the prices low. Go to the website to check it out:

I completely agree with Lori, AJ's is the answer, beautifully presented and delivered, couldn't be better!!! You'll pay a bit more, but from what I've heard from friends in PA. Wegman's is somewhat the same as AJ's.

Not to change the subject, but Wegman's is an ordinary supermarket, and not a gourmet type of store as Aj's. Wegman's is, however, imo, heads and shoulders above all the supermarkets around here in what they offer and how they offer and present it. The offerings, presentations and quality far exceed the Fry's and Basha's of Phx.

Thanks Giro...have no clue what Wegman's is except from hearing about it and our friends left me with the impression it was along the AJ's line...our ordinary groceries could use some "ommph" thrown in, couldn't they?
