Are you traveling or cooking?

This Christmas, are you on the road? Or in the kitchen? Both are fun this time of year. We are in the kitchen today and taking food and traveling next door to the neighbors house with Ina Garten's roasted butternut squash, Italian Cream Cake, horseradish sour cream sauce (for their prime rib) and fresh, hot, steaming, popovers...

Merry Christmas everyone.

I've been in the kitchen today, but tomorrow will spend my Christmas feeding my wonderful family and having fun. It's hectic today, but will be worth it tomorrow.

Both! Cooking tomorrow and traveling on Monday to see family.

tcapp are you Trish? Girl, if that's you I always enjoy reading about your home projects. We just completed the stair case--from carpet to hardwood. We are SO happy that project is over! If you're not Trish you must be bored to tears ;-)

Merry Christmas!

Both. We spent most of today at my parent's house, about an hour and a half away. Tomorrow we are home. Santa comes to our house, so babygans has to wake up on Christmas morning in her own crib.

My inlaws, my parents and various other relatives will be here for Christmas dinner tomorrow afternoon, so as soon as we get home from Mass, babygans will go back into her crib for what will be a badly needed nap and I will head for the kitchen and the ducks that need to be roasted.

Merry, merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!!!

We are home this Christmas and for the first time since 1999 so is our son. His last year in the military was in Japan and then he moved to a distant state for fun and adventure. Now he's settling down with his new family. Our granddaughter flew three times during her first year but now she's just 2 miles away.
