Just saw it three days ago...
First off, it has NOTHING to do with any other Cirque show out there. It is not 'more of the same' in any conceivable way. You can easily go to Mystere, O and Ka and be amazed in very different ways (I have yet to see Zumanity).
Secondly, it has a story, and the acts are built, almost seamlessly, into the story. It is not about individual acts or stunts, but about how they manage to tell the tale.
When you walk into the theater, the first thing you notice is that this will not be an ordinary show in any way. To begin with, there's a pit where the stage should be, and rings of fire come out of the pit. Quite cool.
I will not go into details to avoid spoiling the many surprises this show has. Let me just say that you should be prepared to be amazed at what Cirque pulls in this show. It is a Cirque show, it is Broadway's the Lion King, it is 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', it is 'The Matrix' and one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen. You will not be disappointed, and you will not find it repetitive.

We were in the left side of the orchestra. If you can find spaces 10-15 rows from the stage and close to the center, there's no reason to pay the extra $25 per person for center orchestra. I think that most seats are good, but since the stage is very deep, you might miss a few details if you are on the sides. Stay as close as you can to center and you should be fine.

'Ka' is a bit of a departure from the typical Cirque show. They have focused less on the acrobatics (although the feats are still a big part of the show) and concentrated more on a coherent story. The production was very operatic.
Even though the production was operatic, the music was not as memorable as that of the other Cirque shows. It was OK, but not great. The stage and the staging were incredible. You need to be at the theater at least 15 minutes before the show in order to get the full experience and see the characters running and flying from the catwalks which surround the audience. The preshow announcement was very well done. Nothing was spoken. It was acted out by a few of the characters on the railing at the front of the stage. I was disappointed that the surround staging was lost once the actual show started.
If you can only see one Cirque show, I think ‘Mystere’ is the best choice. I have enjoyed all of the Cirque shows in Las Vegas for different reasons. ‘Mystere’ seems to have a more universal appeal.
