Anyone flown Spirit Airlines

Hello!

I need to go to Detroit, and Spirit Airlines has a great rate. Has anyone flown them? If so, what has been your experience. Do you think they will still be around in October? (That is when my flight would be.)

Thanks.

They are fine... flew them a couple years ago with no problems. There is no reason to think that they won't be around in October.

I've occasionally flown Spirit for 9 years. Cheap rates, fast growing discount airline.
They have bought newer planes recently. One of my best flights (memorable) was on Spirit. There was a discussion here this week on everyone's favorite flights. My comments are there. Click my name. LMF

They are a great low cost, no frills airline. They celebrated their 15 year anniversary a couple of years ago so let me look into my crystal ball and say yes, they will be around in October.

Spirit was recently one of just four airlines to earn a profit for the quarter. Southwest, JetBlue and American Eagle were the others, I think.

We take Spirit Airlines from Atlantic City to Myrtle Beach all the time. Pretty much on time, no frills, low cost, convenient.
