If you have to hang in Reno or have a GTG, Roxy's and La Strada are outstanding at the El Dorado Casino/Hotel and it is owned by the Ferrari-Carano Winery..

The winery has nothing to do with the hotel. The "old man" retired from the hotel...the kids run it now..and started his winery some years ago. They also own part of the Silver Legacy and the Circus Circus. He lives down there permanently now. He has another winery now that specializes in reds. You can't actually visit the winery, it's very difficult to get to but his wine is available for tasting and purchase, someplace in Healsburg. His wife also has a gift shop in Healdsburg. I can't remember the name of the winery, there was an article in our paper about it a few weeks ago. Bistro Roxy is really good. I was there a couple of years ago. I hardly ever go down town so it will be like an adventure, with the added pleasure of meeting Fiana and Holly.
