Any Decent Hotels Under $500 per Month To Get Off Road A While?

Hi. I am traveling the Western States. Once north of Great Falls, MT I wound up in a small, middle-of-nowhere town last winter and I saw a sign that they had an extended stay for around $500 per month. I didn't inquire more since I was there just a few days. Does anyone know of any decent motels with extended stays in the USA? I'm in the western states right now but I'm open to going elsewhere. I got the impression the hotel in MT had a low rate due to low check ins due the winter. Maybe it was due to C-19. But if it was due to the weather is the opposite true in the summer? Do places with extreme heat have hotels with affordable extended stay in summer?

I would not generally put "decent" and $"17 per night" in the same sentence, but "decent" is in the eye of the beholder.

My criteria for "decent" would be something like this, where "decent" falls somewhere in the middle of the spectrum

Risk your life
High "ick factor" but probably safe. I don't see too many undesirables lurking in the shadows
I'd rather not stay here but my car broke down and there's no other choice
Curius, something grabs our eye. Otherwise w little odd, somtings not quite right, but it might be ok we'll try it
Decent
It's got a nice [pool, attached restaurant, free breakfast, tee-pee out front, etc, etc] and there are plenty of cars parked here so it can't be that bad.......
Gets ok reviews on Trip Advisor
Basic, but actually looks OK & very clean.

Wow, this place is nicer than my own home....
Wow, this place is nicer than our neighbors, the Jones.

Try the East Park Motel in Burley Idaho. If they don't have a monthly available they might know of something nearby.

I'd look at VRBO, ASirbnb, etc.

In my area, hotels like that cater to homeless people, some crime (drugs, prostitutes), people evicted, etc. Basically people without credit who can't even qualify or pay the deposit on an apartment. I could see it might be different in some major vacation/resort area.
