Antique Shop with large Diamond

Yesterday I was reading a post with a reference to an antique shop in the quarter with a large diamond and I cannot find it today. Yes, I searched. Anyone know the name of the shop? Thanks.

You might get a better response giving better indications vis-à-vis the location of this antique shop. The clues you drop suggest you're talking about New Orleans, right?

Have you searched the items "Royal" and "diamond" yet?

Well, I did post it under Louisana but you are right. Yes, New Orleans and yes did search on several subjects - diamond, antiques, antique, antique shop, Royal and can't come up with anything so maybe I was mistaken. Could have been on an unrelated post such as brunch, which I had been researching. Just thought someone else might have seen the post and remembered. Thanks anyway.

Usually I don't think you can search much of anything that was posted in the past couple of days to even a week. They just don't enter them into the search function -- or something.

Hmmm. Might try Adler's in N.O.
They seem to be purveyors of the unusual and expensive.

Had hubby all talked into an interesting diamond and mother of pearl bracelet for me there last visit until it turned out to be $15,000.

Ronda - I have found the same thing as Patrick. Give it a few days and keep trying the search, and it may come up.

Also, just as an FYI - when you post under Louisiana, there's no way for us to know that, unless we happen to be searching under Louisiana. But many of us just come to the general US board and see all US posts, with no idea at all whether they were posted with a particular state search topic or not. That's why rjw_lgb_ca was asking for more details on the location - we could not tell this was under Louisiana.

I know a place on Royal St that has lots of unique estate jewelry. It is called Joan Good's. She is in the 800 block & only sells jewelry type stuff. Excellent place to find unusual itmes but is a tiny hole in the wall. She does have a website too. Check to see if that's it.
