Annapolis - restaurants

Will be traveling to Annapolis next month and looking for recommendations on restaurants to take my daughter who was recently engaged.

The modern Mexican restaurant named Jalapeno's. Situated in a strip mall near Riva and the South River, it is far from the traditional fare of tacos, burritos, enchildadas and fajitas. It is very elegant inside.

We had a delicious lunch at Harry Browne's across from the state capitol building.

The Treaty of Paris fits the bill perfectly. It is not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

When my aunt and uncle came to visit a few months ago, we went to Middleton Tavern, down by the docks (downtown).

I had such delicious salmon there (Sesame Encrusted Salmon) and my aunt and uncle were both also really satisfied with their meals... Fish dishes are between $25-$30 there, as far as I remember, and they have meat dishes as well.

Here a two recent threads on the subject, which I happened to reply to:

Would recommend a board search, as often you'll find good answers doing so.

Aqua Terra in downtown Annapolis is really, really good. This was the first place we dined on our first trip to the East Coast this past Nov. ***kim***
