The Moloa'a cottage looks like it has character and is cozy, definately not fancy but I think it will be a nice compliment to the fancier house we will be staying in next. I was also pleased to find out that there is not a public access to the beach the cottage is on and no camping allowed. I think you will be very pleased with the Anini Beach House as it looks to be very upscale and in a great location, away from the camping area on Anini. Did the owner let you know that a road passes in front of the house? It is a small road but it isn't noticable in the pictures. Just thought you should know.

Correction -- there is public access to _all_ beaches in Hawai`i, including Moloa`a.
While it's difficult (usually, impossible) for folks to find parking so they can get to Moloa`a Beach, the public does find ways to do so. 8-)

auntiemaria,
You are right! Thanks for the correction. I guess I should have said that it's not as easy to get access to the beach at Moloa'a compared to Anini. All beaches are public property though.
