Anchorage Airport

After doing some research I was unable to find out if there are any resturants at the Anchorage Intl airport. 8:00 p.m. flight. I usually use the extra time waiting to board by eating a meal. Is this possible at the Anchorage airport?

Yes, you can eat there. There is a nice lounge which serves meals. There is also a quicker walk through, but is pricier and fast food quality. You can eat in the airport though. I'd say to try the lounge.

Most airports have a website with maps showing restaurants, stores, services, etc.

In 02, they were greatly expanding the airport. There should be several options by now.

Just to let you know Connie, the Anchorage Airport web sight has a lot to be desired, i.e. resturants and maps.

Last year we asked the Delta rep about eating & he recommended we take the hotel shuttle to areally nice hotel across the lake & we had a great meal while watching the float planes take off & land. Don't remember the name ( senior moment ) of the hotel but I'm sure your airline rep can advise you.

When we were in the Anchorage Airport it was for Alaska Airlines. There was a Cheers Pub and a food stand called Ididarod Dogs (hot dogs)
