Anaheim in May

Dear all,

Am attending medical conference in Anaheim in May - would like recommendations on hotels to stay that will not be overrun with families with children, perhaps that has a nice pool. Somewhat close to the convention center. Restaurant recommendations welcome too, so we can make reservations in advance. We generally stay at Starwood properties when we travel, but clean rooms are the only major consideration for this business trip. Thanks so much!

I have attended several conventions at the convention center. The hotels along Convention Way (Hilton, Marriot, etc) are within walking distance. I've seen very few children. OTH when visiting a friend staying at a Disney property, yikes! Lots of kids up late at night and crowded restaurants.

Hello,

I, too, will be attending this conference. I'm trying to find a restaurant that will accommodate a small reception for about 50 people. Good food, nice atmosphere and near the convention center are my top considerations. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks.

My husband & I stayed at the Marriott at 700 West Convention Way and were very comfortable there.

We ate at Mama Cozza's Italian Restaurant: http://www.mamacozza.com/
We thought the food was fantastic and they have banquet facilities.

Oh, Mama Cozza's is very close to Disneyland & the Convention Center. Ball Rd is a major thoroughfare and borders Disneyland.

Thank you for the recommendation; I'll look into Mama Cozza's.
