An RV trip along the coast

We will be doing an RV trip with the family in August visiting a few places in MA. Were thinking to stop somewhere for a night or two on the coast on or near a beach. Any suggestions/tips on a location that would have an RV parking/site? Thank you

Are you talking about THIS August?

You may want to look at a site specifically for RV info - but I would think the chances of finding any place near the ocean with room would not be great at this point.

Yes, this August maybe I am being overly optimistic given the August saturation in the area, but maybe there would be something off the beaten path. Thank you for you suggestion

We also don't need a room since we are taking RV, just a parking spot

A parking spot in an RV park with facilities - one can't simply pull one up and spend the night on a public beach or the side of the road.

It could be a campground, RV-accessible parking lot along the coast or RV park, would appreciate any specific recommendations, thank you

Look at Scusset Beach State Campground. It's right at the base of Cape Cod, about an hour south of Boston. You might have some luck mid-week. It's on the canal instead of the ocean but lovely.
